Aura Minerals Inc (Aura) of Canada agreed to acquire the San Andres Gold Mine of Yamana Gold Inc (Yamana), a Toronto-based gold mining company. Concurrently, Aura agreed to acquire the Sao Francisco and Sao Vicente Gold Mines located in Brazil of Yamana. The two transactions were to have a combined value of HNL 4.535 bil (USD 240 mil). The consideration was to consist of HNL 3.023 bil (USD 160 mil) in cash, up to HNL 755.801 mil (USD 40 mil) in profit- related payments, and HNL 755. 801 mil (USD 40 mil) in common stock.
